  1. chinese traditional MA considers that using hand in training or fighting is more useful than using fist.especially in your practice.because that makes your body as a whole.
  2. you donot have to much knowledge of taichi when you start.but you do have to find a good instructor and the right way. if you do have these, you will never get real taichi. hard work is only based on right way to it.
  3. my teacher has never said it,directly. all things are about taichi, but you can find out that it's the same way doing taichi and living a life.
  4. yes, but you may have to spend more time for searching, some kinds of chinese martial art are not allowed to train outside, or in public places, they do as other people do. tai chi is still most popular

  7. yes, i am from china. if we want to practise martial art, few of us go to school. but most of us do think that the real chinese martial art is not in school.so i have never attended a martial art class, two of my tai chi teacher both were found in public garden.and they are not so famous, but their kung fu are really good, and out of you can imagine.
  8. i just want to know in other country, which kind of kung fu people practise?like wing chun, tai chi, or other kind. where can you find your instructor?in domestic china, we can find great teacher in public garden.
  9. there is a blg question that: what style of chinese martial art do you practise out of china? where can you learn from?
  10. in some higher kung fu practice, they do kias, but it includs breathing in and out with different voice,like "heng"and "ha" in junior level of kung fu, we alaways are told brething normally, don't pay much attention to it. that is ok!
