  1. see if u can order through your instructor. i live in ny and thats how i get my chucks or get the parts over the net and make them ur self not that hard theres info on how to make them on the net
  2. for mine all we had to do was read an essay on our years from white to black and about the black belt principles. then the next day we had to do moving basics, all different kinds of kicks and punches, any form the the master called out , our own form we made up, 5 self defense situations, sparring 5 boards in a max of 3 stations and a brick.
  3. to start out go w/ a regular round kick than when u jump turn over ur hips and get the knee of ur 1st kick to turn behind ur body to help turn over the other leg. hope that helps and rember Always turn over ur hips
  4. We start at are school sparring as orange belts (2nd rank) unless you are a white belt that gets approval from the master. As for drills we do kicking partners w/ hogus on and that shows were to kick. also bag work. Pm me if u have any questions cuz i have a lot more but just dont feel like typing it all in right now so if u pm me ill tell u some drills that are fun and work well
  5. hello im thining about starting bjj or jj. and i was wondering what the pros and cons of each are and what if any difference is there between what you learn in class and what you do in a tournment. also maby could you explain, give me a link, or title of book about the basics of both thanks
  6. i would check out combat sports on the net cuz i kno they have a wide selection of mma gloves for training and fights

  8. yea thanks i have adidas right now but wanter to go w/ seperate shin and insteps for feel do u think the foam they make their boote would work cuz i have a pair of each
  9. hello i am planning to get foam shin guards and cloth insteps and i was wondering which ones are thicher and which are comfy(sp?) the macho dyno shin / forarms or the mti swift ones im leaning towards to the ones from mti w/ adidas cloth insteps. what do you say?
  10. has anyone picked out the fact that they first say its a karate comp against a korean team which should be a japanese team then when they got to korea and the arena they show a tkd sign then the mc says its a mix between tkd judo karate ect.
  11. ther is a book i have called The Complete Knive Throwing Guide by Gill Hibben it very good and goes through different knives and axes dont know if theat helps but i found it very helpful
  12. hello this might be a stupid question but which is better to learn befor 3 section staff, staff or nunchaku. or both? thanks p.s if this was asked just send me a link to the one cuz i looked but couldent find one
  13. i know this is a littel late but w/ roundhouses side kickes and axe kicks we have one person hold are leg and raise it up and up. dont know if that helps
