  1. Hey everyone, I've recently been doing a bit of internet research on kata from other styles of karate (i do shotokan). I've seen a few I fancy learning- I've recently learned Junro Shodan via the JKS (Cheers to Scott Langley Sensei!). The other day I came across a White Crane kata- Hakutsuru I believe- and I think it's from Goju-Ryu. Some of the moves look very similar to Unsu. What I'd like to know is, can anybody post links to good quality videos on the internet, or written instructions for any karate kata? No matter what style. I just fancy having a look and learning. For everyone's reference- some of the kata I know (and plenty more besides!) are on the JKS website- https://www.thejks.com and I'd recommend anybody just having a look- just to see what they look like. Thanks in advance, Nick
  2. Hey all, I'm new to this place and before I start posting I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nick, I do Shotokan Karate and I'm interested in just about anything martial arts. It drives my missus crackers! I live in North East england, but I do travel about a bit with work so I try and train elsewhere if possible, and bring new stuff back to my club. So, that's me- hello and nice to be here! Cheers, Nick
