  1. No I just know that in the few events that i have went to to watch they wouldn not let people use them.
  2. The cotton pads are banned from some events
  3. What do you use what do you wish you would have gotten? I am looking at Warrior by Macho http://www.karatedepot.com/pr-se-001.html Any thoughts?
  4. Where do you get your armor? I know a few SCA guys that make top notch armor and baskets are only about 35 to 40 bucks. Have you tried other groups I know a group called amtguard its LARP but they fight with boffers no armor needed?
  5. Get a good Basket guard and punch block like crazy block the shot with your hand int the basket or close to the bottom of the blade. Thay way you take most of the blow and impact low.
  6. Depending on the metal type depends on how you sharpen it. If it has been heat treated you might be screwed but a treated blade should not dull under normal use. Also if it is a wall hanger sword it would be a bad idea to even try it.
  7. Most of the blades that you fold and hammer are going to be curved it is a flow in the process of making them. A flaw that was use to great advantages by the people who used them.
  8. sounds cool I would not want to use them to hit something unlsee you heat treated them. Pic of this would be cool to see.
  9. add a 3 foot long pice of pve in the center of the fun noodle Cut a pice of fun noodle 24 inches long. Take a pice of 1/2 sch 40 pvc pipe and slide it into the hole of the fun noodle and cover the top with cloth tape and tape the bottom of the noodle to the pvc and you have a tried and true wacker stick. just check the fome from time to time to make shure it is still safe. This can be used to make swords and stuff as well. Jason Hill Jc4199
  10. I made mine own and they will never break. I used a type of plastic that they used in the making of conveyors. and the only cost me about 15 bucks.
