  2. Damn.. Ralph Gracie is amazing.. I dunno how some one can handle such a beating.. Btw what can I do that just retains in Karate/TKD ? I realized that I'm not really in a violent area so I guess self defense isnt the #1 fitness, I just want something that will keep me fit (Strong, Flexible) and mentally disciplined and something I can use as a sport and selfdefense if needed. Something that retains in the styles of TKD and Karate.. *I have a interest in Japanese/Korean culture.. heh..* Thanks for the replies guys

  7. Hey I'm thinking about starting Martial Arts again and I have 2 choices. 1) Tae Kwon Do *TDK* and 2) Karate I'm wondering which style would give me discipline and something I can use as a sport/fitness thing and also something I can use for self defense thing to protect my friends and myself. Im kinda leaning to TKD because their school is closer to me but I also really wanna stress on the style, and if karate which style of karate? *Shotokan, Gojo-Ryu.. etc* I'm not looking for the best everything killer style just a style that would fit my interest or what I'm looking for. Thanks
  8. 11. Goes out to walmart buys a blackbelt for 6$$, go to school and do totally fake karate moves. 12. *Signs up for kung fu* *goes up to the sensei in the begining of the class* "When do I start learning spinning kicks that lets me hang in the air for minutes?" 13. Doing the crane stance as a joke. 14. "Show me your death moves." 15. *Wearing a blackbelt /gi* "WOAH!!! Where do you buy that?!?!" (I never had any of these said to me except for #13 which really isnt a saying...)
  9. Hey, I thought I should introduce myself. I found this site from another forum. I'm 13 years old *with the maturity of 20 lol* and I came here to get information on MA tips and advice etc. I hold a yellow belt in Kojosho Karate but I quit for a long time (I was only like 11 or 12 ) so I picked up interest in martial art after I saw couple movies by Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Shin Koyamada etc etc a year later after I quit. So here I am browsing bunch of martial art forums for advice on which martial art should I go through and tips about getting in shape and such.. so HI!
  10. Hey I'm new here so I'm sorry if this topic has been made before. I heard about a style of karate called Kei Shin Kan Karate-Do, is this a style or a school? Or a sub style that belongs to something like Shotokan? I really would like some information on this style if any body knows. Thanks!
