  1. "well I heard that you dont have to unless you know the 5 finger exploding heart attack!"
  2. me.personally.i smack myself and slap cold water on my face and yell in the mirror!
  3. well my little brother has like,......................twelve trophies and hes been doin it for like 9 months!
  4. all the WTF TKD tournament clips i have seen have both fighters with there hands down!??? . Why is this? I was at my friends TKD school(WTF I do ITF myself) and during sparring they didint keep there hands up,At first I just thought it was the color belts doing so but as time went by I saw the BBs sparring aswell and the did the same thing! Im not trying to say that they were performing weak and or wrong tequniueqes. but it just seemed so strange to me and all they didi was kick not one punch thrown even by BBs! please tell why this is! Is there a reason or method to this? please tell me. -Bryan-
  5. Me and my friend both study MA. In two different places. Just recently he purchased a knife I was kinda shocked and alittle dissapointed! I mean if you study and train in a MA why do you need to carey a weapon to protect yourself I feel torn. what do you guys think about the subject? -Bryan-
  6. I believe a BB should be attained not only after the development of good techniuqes! But the mental development aswell soo yeah pretty much id say 5 - 6 years.
  7. I do a secret art that i so deadly that if I told you the name of it I would have to kill you.! The secrete of the martial arts what the Governement and the masters dont want you to know! The ultimate kick!It cant be blocked!
  8. well most likely because of the olympics I think plus TKD is an art that is very commercialized sadley it is easily thought of as Mcdojo art than MA! Whenb people hear TKD all they think is ....................young children at the age of 10 teaching class, breezing along belts like nothing and all about trophys then any slefdefense for that matter. Trust me my friend I know what you are talking about. When i tell other MA that i do TKD they laugh and say," Point Karate thats all it is!", It dosent bother as much as used to though. When I hear people take that much energy to ,"bash", on another art and take time to make a negative list about that art I know thats wasted energy they could be useing for themselves. Dont worry what people think, when you do that you WILL NEVER UNLOCK YOUR TRUE POTENTIAL! Hope that helps! -Bryan-
  9. Alright all us MA her this stuff! From friends family, and just plain stupid people. 1.so what my little bro got his BB when he was 10! and hes only been doin it for a year and a half! 2. You do Karate!? how many peole have you beaten up? 3.How many people can you take? 4.Judo chop! 5.Judo kick! 6. wax on, wax off
  10. Hello im new here and thought this was a great place to listen and share opinions with other MA! I have studied 5 1/2 years in TKD and 2 years in wrestling, and also just started capoera I am seventeen and hope my wisdom will be useful and appreciated here.Well here goes! I would like to talk about selfdefenseand street fights. First off there are many ways to perform selfdefense then struking your opponent, 1. Talking down or out of a situation to a potential attacker is a good way of selfdefense. at the same time you might make a good friend at the prosses 2.could be just walking or running away! If anyone has any others please fill in!
