Hello everyone, I am new to these forums, and new to kickboxing, too. I am 19 years old, 6'1" and 180 lbs and are currently going to LA Boxing. They offer a lot of dumb cardio type crap, but they also have real classes too. I have no experience with any type of martial arts. What are some things that will help me get started? What type of gloves and wraps should I get? Are there some drills that I can do away from the gym and at the gym that will help me? I've noticed that my main problems are footwork and balance. Are there any drills that could help me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
