I was a student of Sabunim Chung, the master, founder, and president of DO HAP SOOL assosciation when I was stationed at Osan AB Korea in 1989. DO HAP SOOL is like no other art. The several animal forms, crane, eagle, bear, cat, praying mantis, monkey, tiger, dragon, etc....are all very different from one another. These forms reflect a vast assortment of devastating fluid movements used in real combat situtaions. It has been 17 years ago and I still remember a good majority of the movements from the forms. I would highly recommend DO HAP SOOL, it is fun to learn, yet challenging and very useful. I followed up my Hapkido, TKD, TangSuDo, ShorinRu training days with DO HAP SOOL. In the 90's, I became more aware of close quarters combat, studying Greco-Roman Wrestling / Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The ground game is where it's at OR it is somewhere that you don't wanna be! TRAIN in every aspect of the martial arts, learn, live, and grow. KNOW THY ENEMY, KNOW THY WEAPON.
