I carry on me at all times a 7 inch chain whip and a Spyderco Dragonfly knife

the school I go to the Belt Ranking goes like this

White

Red (8 years of age and below)

Yellow

Orange

Blue

Purple

Green

Brown

Black

is this the standard or do other dojo's do it different

well I got some more good news to add to it my Daughter who is 5 just tested tonight for her Red Belt and passed with flying colors.

An orange belt after only one month of training? Have you trained at another dojo or in the past? That just seems very fast. Congratulations, though! It's exciting to pass a grading.

well tonight was a good night for my son and me, He got his Yellow belt after only taking Karate for 1 month and I got my Orange Belt doing it for the same amount of time, He would have done the same as me but was not allowed to double belt test like I did do to his age.
