  1. I really do think Royce has this fight, he is training hard on his conditioning right now and I don't think that will be a factor in the fight, His last fight against Tokoro was great, he wasn't at his best though. Matt Hughes is really underestimating Gracie, which is no surprise, but, I have heard he is training real hard for the fight. Royce knows this fight is serious and hopefully sucks up everything he has into training because like he says ''You win the fight on the training camp''. Matt isn't much against submissions as we have seen a few times, but is a pure power house. So even if my favourite fighter Royce Gracie looses it will still be a great fight. Come on Royce, WIN! WIN! WIN!
  2. Well thanks for the information guys, my brothers happy so it's all good.
  3. Well thanks for that info mate, thanks alot My brother is 18, so he deffently will be able to apply this kind of choke?
  4. I'm sorry about asking this question but my brother is doing Judo and asked me this question, since I study Gracie BJJ I couldn't really answer this, but here goes! Can anyone please tell me if in Judo you can use your legs too choke someone? Exacly like Royce Gracie did in his fight against Dan Severn I think it was a sort of Triangle Choke. http://www.shadowmafia.com/DVD/PPV/UFC/4/Highlights8BIG.jpg http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/pictures/RoyceDefSevern_CHK.jpg [/img]
  5. Virtua Fighter series, Shenmue I - II
  6. Hope you two guys do really good, I'm sure you're dedication will shine through.
  7. Haha good selection of music there, I recently took part in a 6 man MMA tournament with some old buddies I ain't seen in a while (Which I won all by submission, yeah it was a small number but each match was over 20 minutes long) anyways to get me into the mood I listened to the Last Samurai OST and boy did that calm my nerves.
  8. Haha I downloaded that on bearshare, I saw it tagged as ''Karate expert vs. Jiu Jitsu expert'' it made me laugh hard.
  9. I went shortly after I left school for 4 months, one of the best choices I ever made was to go there, I trained and took part in alot of things, I advice you to go watch some Muay Thai matches aswell, very very good to watch.
  10. Well I would say Jimmy Eat World when i'm training, the beat of their older work fits in my training. When I'm practicing Kata I listen to Pink Floyd. Listening to Music while training helps me alot.
  11. I'd raise his guard, and shoot to his legs, bringing him down with a scoop. I have sparred many boxers and this is the stratagy I allways use, simple but it works, it's the same move that Royce Gracie did too the Strikers in the early days of UFC.
  12. The Gi is great, I allways use it in any sorta' match, It gives me leverage and doesn't allow someone to slip away from me, I'd prefere the gi over any type of clotheing.
  13. Haha, These guys are a joke, I've been doing Gracie BJJ since I was 10, and there's no way these chumps could beat me.
