Hi, everybody. I'm Liu Kang. I chose this nick because I was a huge Mortal Kombat fan back in the day - though I wasn't the best at the local arcade! I still have all the Mortal Kombat games - I, II, III, Ultimate III, and the later versions (I've also got a bunch of video games at home as you can probably tell). I only took a little bit of TKD when I was in elementary school and now am thinking of taking up something - leaning towards MT or kickboxing. I live in the New York city area so if you can recommend any schools for either kickboxing or MT, please let me know. thanks all!

HI all. I'm new here and have thought about trying out muay thai or kickboxing. I have no martial arts background - other than some tae kwon do when I was in elementary school. If I joined my goals would be: - physical fitness - confidence - the ability to defend myself (from my very limited knowledge of martial arts, I've been told that MT and KB are two of the most useful styles) Anyone? thank you.
