Hi Anakin, I visited Chen village last March. I only trained there for a day but the school I was at seemed pretty good. I was shown a weapon and basic empty hand form as well as some Chen style pushing hands which was pretty impressive. Whether or not it was real Tai Chi chaun is hard to say, depends on what you call real. The master at the school certainly had lineage, and the pushing hands as a fighting art certainly seemed effective. I hope this helps and good luck with your trip.
