It seems that the name for a punch may be the same but execution is far different, especialy in Shorin Ryu. I have noticed thought these threads what is stated in comparison to what is executed is different in our style. Is that because some styles have common heritage threads?

I train with myself and teo other students. I comonly have our Sensei as a pertner and I think it's a great scenario. Our Sensei will also spar with us as well, wich is a plus, that should benifit sparring with a black belt while we are learning.
