  8. I haven't gone on any, but my sensei has been planning a mountain trip for a while.
  9. At my dojo, minimum age for shodan is 13years, not sure about nidan though.
  10. 10th Kyu(Godwilling, 8th by end of week) here, also, pushups here depend on grading, whites usually do them regular, I and some others do them with my knuckles, and from 2ndkyu onwards, on 2 fingers.
  11. We bow to satan... Seriously, you bow to the sensei and sosai.
  12. Just learned Pinan sono ni.
  13. Ong Bak is anything but Karate, it's still good, but not Karate. Fighter in the wind is very good, yes.
  14. 1.5 hours 3 times a week.
  15. Taikyoku Sokubi sono ichi ni san, and Pinan sono ichi
  16. At my dojo, they're trying to make a 13 year old shodan, but he still has a long way to go, would be cool if he made it though.
  17. It's pretty much contact Karate.
  18. I prefer Kyokushin, I'm already used to getting my * kicked by 2nd-dans(I'm white belt by the way. )
  19. Do plenty of squats, preferably with weight, trust me, low kicks are no fun, also, abuse them while fighting.
  20. Tried already. :/
  21. 8 belts in my dojo, and every other kyokushin dojo on my country... White(10th Kyu) Orange(9th Kyu) Light Blue(8th-7th Kyu) Yellow(6th-5th Kyu) Green(4th-3rd Kyu) Brown(2nd-1st Kyu) National Black(Shodan) International Black(Shodan and onwards)
  22. I know that there is an official music to Kyokushin, I was wondering if anyone would have a midi version for it?
  23. At my dojo, we all train in the same class except for tournament competitors that have a special class focused on combat training, but, seeing as how we have two senseis, and sometimes another ni/shodan to help them, we all just go into the same class and get split in groups.
  24. That's from a movie(Karate Bullfighter) which was based on the life of Mas Oyama.
