Yellow Belt (2/10)

  1. Indeed there is.
  2. Hi guys, I had no idea there were also four-sectional nunchaku. How many sections can it possibly go up to? When is it not recognized as a M/A weapon?
  3. Hey Sai!! Haven't seen you in awhile!
  4. Hi guys, Just a quick question. since a three section staff is essentially a staff, can it be locled into staff form?
  5. Hi guys, I've heard there is a three sectional nunchaku called the San Setsu-Kon. Is this areal M/A weapon? Or really a three-sectioned staff? It also says each stick is "14 long. If it's really a three-sectional nunchaku shouldn't they be "12 long each? Any help clearing up my confusion will be appreciated.
  6. Just wondering, how long is a real three-section staff excluding the added length of the rope at the joints, etc? Just want to know the length of the three wood pieces combined. Because I've ran across a few variants in shop and want to know what the true length is.
  7. Thank you. So Hapkido is locks? I've heard of it, but never knew just which Art it was.
  8. Yes, moves with the arms and strikes that can lay an opponent out. Thanks.
  9. Hi guys, Just wondering: If I wanted to learn just one or two upper body moves to finish off an opponent fast and get out, what would you recommend? I just need a couple of simple finishing moves, nothing special. I was thinking something in the Kung Fu area but I’ll take whatever you think is good for me. I’vehave cerebral palsy so not much flexibility at all in the lower body.
  10. Ah, Jackie Chan. Yes he is well known for that approach of enviroment weapons. A good choice I'd say. Thanks for the advice.
  11. Hi guys, I rely heavily on weapons, although I do learn from Sifu Douglas Wong's Wing Chun books. So in your opinion, because many M/A techniques will deal with a fight, when are they not enough, and weapons need to be brought into play?
  12. Hi guys, Not sure if it's the right forum, but is there such a move as a neck pinch or similar, that can knock your opponent unconcious? I've been trying to find out if there is, and if so how exactly to do it. Though I'd not deigned to try it on someone. I'd prefer using it to fighting and hurting. Is there such a move as this "neck pinch"?
  13. Hi guys, I was wondering if there was ever a simple system set up by which guys like me who know no Chinese could translate individual titles. That's all I intend to do, right now. For example, words like "Moonbeam" or "Sunlight". I was wondering if I could translate them into Chinese? Thanks.
  14. Hey guys, Just wondering how in the world you store/carry a long weapon like a three-section staff around. I mean ithassome flexibility for semi-folding, but is not as portable as the nunchaku. How do you do it?
  15. Hi guys, I'm wondering: Is there a way we can make a circular throwing disk thing shaped like a Frisbee, but it can return to you as well? Like a boomerang, only shaped like a circle? I think it'd give me great practice foe throwing and catching.
