  1. Wow, you guys sure do know a lot about about the Villari system!

I studied with Armen Heroian for almost two years, during my mid teen years. I think I started in 2000. He IS pretty dedicated, and it made me idolize him, I tried so hard to be like him. I made it to green/brown stripe, but unfortunately I had to drop out of the class because I had gotten pregnant with my first born. I had planned to return after recovering, but I ended up moving to Sacramento.

Do you guys know if they'll spread up to Northern California? I tried looking for something similar up here and couldn't find anything. I tried taking Taekwondo, but after studying with Master Heroian, Taekwondo seemed very much like nothing. I was forced to drop martial arts entirely and pick up bellydance.

    Wellcome to the forum nasraani,

One of my friends studys with grand master heroian. He was just promoted to 9th degree by grand master friend villari.

I hear they are planing a big expansion in california so I give grand master armen a call.

Best of luck to you. :D

  2. Master Prosch is a legit master. I train with him on a weekly basis. And let me tell you he is well deserving of his rank. As far as USSD goes, I love it here. it is them most complete system I have come across and it has yet to fail me or my students. Yes its true that some of the studios fall short of that expectation, and that makes us all look bad, but those who strive to live up to what United Studios truly represents doesnt disapoint. I have joined the Insttructors College and it is totally worth the money. It is business school and teacher instruction all in one. So if all you can do is 'say' how bad it is, then I encourage you to step up and 'show' how much better you are.

Welcome to the forum offduty ninja,

Ask master prosch why grandmaster fred villari is not in the black belt manual?

:-? He promoted mattera from yellow to 7th black.

Why dont they teach the real history?

Is it beacause you can own a fred villari dojo 100% for $40,000?

    https://www.villarisonline.com

    https://www.shaolinkempo.com

And they dont want you to know about it?

Also ask him why you cant own a ussd school 100% anymore? Are they greedy? :-?

  3. I dont know why these people open schools with mc dojos? You would make more money on your own then with a mc dojo.

    $100 a month for classes for 100 students= $10,000 a month.

    Thats 120,000 a year

That makes alot more sense then paying some outrageous franchise fee. :karate:

Yes I think it's $125,000 for a USSD dojo? It will probabley be only $10,000 to get my dojo started.

    $1,500 first months rent.

    $1,500 last months rent.

    $1,500 deposit.

    $1,000- $500 for mats.

    $500 for gi's and patchs.

    $100 for phone.

  4. I agree. :brow: Mixed martial arts is the best. Studing one style is to limited. A mix of jeet kune do I think is one of the best mixed martial arts out there.
    Yes you are right.

If you teach a mix style you will have more people train with you and you will be a better fighter.

  5. Hi all,

I wish mattera and company would just say that they teach kempo with kungfu later.

The forms to black belt are not shaolin, they are kajukenbo kempo forms. Your shaolin defense maneuvers(DM's)are kajukenbo kempo combos..

That's another mis-statement. The forms and combo's of Shaolin Kempo are not Kajukenbo. I've seen all the SKK forms and combo's required for 1st degree, and only recognized one technique that resembled a Kajukenbo "Punch Counter". Each generation from Sonny Gascon to George Pesare, to Nick Cerio, to Fred Villari changed, removed, and added material.

Sorry about that mister bishop. I was going off mr cpw link.

IT's actually karaenpo Go Shinjutsu. https://www.karazenpogoshinjutsu.com

  6. Hi all,

I wish mattera and company would just say that they teach kempo with kungfu later.

The forms to black belt are not shaolin, they are kajukenbo kempo forms. Your shaolin defense maneuvers(DM's)are kajukenbo kempo combos. In my opinion they probabley thought shaolin sounded more marketable.

They also dont put fred villari in their black belt manual. That's where mattera got 1st -7th black.

Sunny victor gascon made up most of the system up to black and combos 1- 26 but their is no mention of him in their b.b manual.

In my opinion if you lie about what you teach than what else are you lying about?

Please dont take this the wrong way cpw there is alot of good instructors in ussd and it sounds like you have a good one so keep training their if you like. I would not sign up for instructors college.
