I just started up, but a few people at work to do the "get in karate position" and say "hi-yah" as mentioned above It's kind of funny. Other people at work have said "That's really cool!" I'd guess being male and in school would make it more difficult.

We start out saying "Kiai" but a lot of people end up changing it over time. I'm actually having difficulty yelling anything at all. I'm pretty quiet by nature. Any tips on letting go and making it happen? I get all nervous and end up with something really quiet and lame.
