now i know an abusive teacher when i see one...lol poor scronny guy gets thrashed around like a rag doll, kicked and punched too. though the guy with the red hat seems to be tapping him, STILL! thats messed up. i could see if the guy weighed more than 100 pounds, man...
i wouldnt say a woman has less chances of mastery as a man, i would just say to be a "little" more careful than a man in approach to training, and especially sparring(if sparring a man) since women are NATURALLY, structurally weaker, yet they have a higher pain tolerance and stronger legs(i think) so a woman has an equal chance of becoming a master. (plus a woman doesnt have a very big weak spot between her legs.) in th old days, women became masters too. and i wouldnt doubt that they would kick men around all the time.
i see what you mean, the problem is, nobody has enough guts to claim kung fu is their signature art. also chinese martial arts tend to be less competitive. i agree with your point, since ufc, things have been geared towards muay thai, and jj. very good arts, but in my opinion, not as good as kung fu.
can you grapple? close the distance, boxers like to keep you at punching range. dont worry, you will get better, just keep training your hardest. dont be dicouraged when you come across a real challenge. thats how we all get better. keep it up!
i did the noodle thing, i was also being jumped by 14 people. in the process i ripped my right rotater cuf, BUT HEY< I ESCAPED?! i personally like the wrist control and the finger bending ideas.
huh??? in what way is tkd useless? oh well. capo sounds like a cool art, used against armed guards they were able to hold their own with this art. that deserves mad respect, and is worth looking into. i would imagine also that it takes alot of upper body strength as well as mid and lower to perform alot of capoeira moves, as well as agility and balance. all signs of a deadly fighting art.
