Thanks Patrick... I probably will end up making the hike to south bend.. if you don't live in K-zoo or south bend, all that is really available to you is tae kwon do... I was thrilled to find that there a few schools in south bend that teach some okinawan and japanese styles.. Cheers Joe

Hello, Great forum first of all! I am currently living in St. Joseph Michigan & looking for a Martial Arts school in the Southwest michigan area... I preferably would like to find a traditional style like goju ryu, shotokan, jujitsu... although i am also interested in any okinawan style or wing chun does anyone have any suggestions... it appears that there are mainly Tae Kwon Do schools around in this area... there appears to be a large selection of schools in the kalamazoo area, but that's a little bit farther drive than I would like to make 3 or 4 times a week!..
