  1. watch cro cop kick minotauros head off tomorrow night for a nice striking demo
  2. Daniel deserves to get beat up in about every situation that he does in.
  3. haha, how about we see you vs bob sapp then in a k1 or pride match. u seen his fights with hoost and minotauro and other top fighters. He can get hurt but holds his own with top level guys.
  4. Hmm, I prefer watching the HW guys. They have so much more power at their disposal, and I can relate to them better since I'm around that size. Also the next PRIDE card is stacked as hell and recommend everyone to watch it.
  5. I would think that you would more have to think about the general type of move, which training has made automatic through practice, and then do it. It is instinctive in that you don't have to lumber mentally through the entire process. This is already programmed into, as combos can be as well. This way when I mean to block, I block, and when I want to kick, I kick. No extra steps are taken, as it is all done immediately and the most efficient way; as practiced. However, i can still change my plan, and my combinations at will. At least thats what my experience has been, although I am not a street fighter. I guess it also comes down to the style of the fighter. Some people do well with instinctive fighting, and doing whatever comes naturally. Some can plan out what will be effective and immediately do it. Most others are somewhere in between I would surmise.
  6. sambo, judo, bjj, and sub-wrestling are all good
  7. JKD is for competition only, not practical for real fighting
  8. Does starting traditional and then starting MMA whilst continuing tradtional arts count?
  9. please ask again, but this time, a tad more vague
  10. if you're worried about armed attackers, just buy a .44 and a liscense for it.
  11. Yeah. a lot of people feel that these online communities play a big part in their understanding and drive in martial arts, so they want to give back and share their accomplishments with those they feel are their peers and teachers.
  12. Hmm, I would advise the practitioner to train in something practical and easy to learn/use first, so that while learning Aikido, they can defend themselves. Of course, if they're not worried about getting into fights for the time being, they need not waste precious training time on something they are't going to be using.
