Seen as though you solved that problem alone I want to ask; Have any of you seen that spear type thing but with a half moon on the end, I know that it was used to 'remove' men from horses, Do you know what it is called?

Good I dea about Kicking him in the **** but don't run. Will he be able to stand up if you kick his **** hard enough? Although I did see an old Kung Fu movie where this Master said he had no weakness and so the other guy tried to hit him in various places and then he stopped and looked at him and them grabbed his **** and the guy had done some 'Iron ****' technique.

Yes I understand they are a complete different thing, I would not use a real Kusari Gama as I do not have a real experience of years of training. Do you not use wooden Kama for Katas? like Iaido practitioners only get a real sword when they are 4th Dan, as there are great dangers involved.

Well put. If you want to quit then do it, Determination! I am actually suprised that there are smokers on KF as Martial Artists would not be the kind of people you expect to smoke.

I guess you are still learning, when you master these weapons you should use sharp ones all of the time, keep your weapons in top condition and look after them as they look after you. I understand though that you are still learning, I use wooden Kusari Gama as I would not last long with real ones, lose an arm maybe! But I always use sharp shuriken and Kunai.

I think they are called tricks, not attacks in the playground, I missed that craze, But reading your posts I am pondering going into town today??? I saw an advert the other day on TV, with light up ones, glow in the dark and all kinds of special features! I guess I am to old though, maybe I was not ment to experience the joy of yo-yo's, Fate. Any other wierd weapons? How about a skipping rope? Were hopscotch grids designed to confuse attackers trying to find castles? Gameboys were used in the war to track enemy communications?

And you say I have trouble deciding between fantasty and reality!
