  1. Yeah! The last firght scene in Kickboxer 3 (Between him and the Argentinian champ) was just awesome.
  2. Yeah! I saw him in Kickboxer 2, 3, and 4. I also saw him in a movie titled, Class of 1999 II:The Subtitute. The movies are corny, but, the fight scenes are interesting enough to watch. In kickboxer 3, 4 and class of 99, the fight scene look like authentic Muay Thai. Sasha Mitchell maybe practiced Muay Thai, or he trained well for the role. He seem fit enough. By the way Jessica Alba (star of Dark angel) is learning Muay Thai now.
  3. I agree that there's no good or bad martial arts. I also agree that it's the individual (in most cases) that make the style great. I agree that all martial arts system are good. But, the question is good for what? In reality, each martial art is better than the other when it come to certain aspect. For instance, I think Muay Thai technics are better or more effective in street fighting than Tae Kwon Do Technics. A boxer or Kick will be able to learn how to defend himself effectively in shorter amount of time than an Aikido follower in my opinion. Every Martial Art is good for something, but, there're not equaly effective in everything. For instance I think that more modern style (20th century) with Military background are better suited than most for street fighting, and for dealing with extremely dangerous situations, Krav Maga (the Israeli system), or the Russian (red army) hand to hand method. But other system are also well suited for self-defense, in my opinion mainly Muay Thai, Boxing (but very limited), Kali, JKD. Other style like Submission fighting, Vale Tudo and Pancrase are created mostly for sports, but a practitioner from any of these styles will still be able to take care of himself, because the training they go through make them very tough and the technics are simple powerfull and effective. When it comes to traditional martial arts, you still can learn to defend yourself with them, but it will take some time and dedication. However you have to stick only to basic, because there're many things they teach that are useless in real fighting. Whatever you decide to do, be aware of outrageous claims. Many people outhere are claiming they've train Mavy Seals, Ranger, Marines, they can teach you pressure points to kill at a mere touch, magic trick, and blah, blah blah. Just be aware
  4. Hi! First time here. I think that Rob Kaman was the best Thai Fighter outside Thailand. I also think that he was much better than Smith (no-offense to Smith; and he is also a good fighter). We have to remember that Kaman fought in Thailand, in the most prestugious tournament, under Thai rules, and he is one of the few foreigners who succeeded at defeating the Thai at their own game. Also Kaman fought agaisnt the best of his time. So, for this reason I think he is the best Thai Fighter (Western) ever. Other Europeans I think are great too are: Ramon Dekker and Danny Bille. As for Thailand I think the top 5 fighters are: 1) Apidej Sit-Hirun (the best Thai fighter ever) 2) DieselNoi (with his ungodly knees) 3) Poodpanoi 4) Pol Prapradang 5) Vicharnnoi At least that's my opinion.
