Now that you brought it up, good question
After a bit of research it appears that they are the same throw, the only thing that seperates them is the grip and their category. One being a hip throw, other being a leg throw.

All I have to say is that without spirit you cannot prevail, no matter what the endeavor.

Hi all, and thanks for the fine board Patrick. Just wanted to drop a note and let you know a bit about myself. I study sil-lum kung-fu, in which I spent five years as an apprentice to Master Romaine Lum, along with a combination of other arts such as boxing, judo, and jujitsu. I run a school full-time in Arizona. I am also the admin for aBudokan Martial Arts Community at http://www.abudokan.com. Currently getting ready for the 2002 aBudokan Martial Arts Summit to be held Sept 4-8.
I find one of the most intriguing things about martial arts to be the fundamental relation between science and spirit - something of which I look forward to speak with many of you with. I look forward to being a part of these forums. Thaks for having me.

Good luck searching. It's my experience that those that know these forms are few and far between.
Did you find a fan?
