  1. The title of the book is: An Education in the Martial Arts By: Dale A. Jenkins Published by: Professional Martial Arts Academy Kenvil, NJ 07847 1st Edition 1979 About 70 pages (the pages are not numbered). The book has some pictures of Mr. Jenkins; one of him with Peter Urban and Don Nagle together. Regards, Larry
  2. Hi Greg, My Sensei was good friends with Mr. Jenkins. He also has a book by him as well. According to my Sensei, Mr. Jenkins used to come down to my Sensei's dojo on Sunday's to workout in weapons and I think sparring; this was in the 70's. My Sensei said he was a great karateka with excellent technique. I did see his book once. I'll see if I can borrow it and get the name of the book. I shouldn't have a problem borrowing since my Sensei is my father-in-law. Regards, Larry
  3. This is very true.
  4. Well, I don't own the videos, so that would be kind of difficult. My instructor has them, and he promised his instructor (whose still alive) not to release them. His instructor (Clarence Lee, former 8th dan under Shuguro Nakazato...wasn't kicked out of the system or anything, he just sort of drifted away) doesn't mind letting a few people see them, but doesn't want it to be all out there. All the same, I'm going to try and see them Thursday, as I've no school (thanks to Veteran's Day...bless all those who have served and who are serving now). I have to coordinate it because he does live 2 hours away from me... I'll tell you my impressions though (I will bring my notebook, at least, and jot some stuff down). Here's some info on Clarence Lee, if you're interested in how he got the tapes: http://www.martialartmasters.org/Official%20Website%20(Hall%20of%20Fame)_files/page0008.htm Hello Shorin Ryuu, Does Clarence Lee still do seminars? Also, can you PM me contact info for him?...Mailing address, e-mail, and Tel#. My instructor trains under Nakazato and was there in the mid 1960's. Thanks in advance.
