  1. Go to Sit Yod Tong! Of course I am biased, but my school is the most sucessful MT school in Thailand! Also, please train here for a bit.
  2. To add... if you spar, you would understand what I mean. Many so called martial artists who never spar often * their pants at the sight of a street fight as they might know how to fly around and throw multiple kicks, but the street fight is a new phenoma as they have never experienced combat.
  3. Yes. Those who do not respond those who flail are the easist to beat.
  4. Depends on their training, but you do know that a number of boxing champs were former MT practicioners who could not gain enough recognition being simply only MT?
  5. What the hell are you talking about? Have you ever seen a real thai-boxing match besides that MTV I am an Muay-Thai fighter crap? While I agree that many styles have merit, I have decided (after watching many styles, sparring with many from other styles and studying TKd + GJ Karate) that MT is one of the best striking arts out there with a very good clinching system. MT is basic, effective, brutal and powerful. The fighters are in peak physical condition and can take and dish out abuse.
  6. Been in many fights, none started by me. Most finished by me. I did use a few of the techniques I've learned from older arts I studied (TKD, Hapkido and GJ Karate) and my physical size + strength also helps. I am currently studying Muay-Thai, Western Boxing and BJJ.
  7. Can't see the first one, second one one looks a bit different from how we are taught. We tend to put more hip action into it.
