  1. that blows! you should find a new dojo with your friends from your old club! or even start your own (depending on age and grade of course)!
  2. to be honest if anyone hits me too hard i tell them njot to do it but if they do it again then i hit them back. It is an aggressive approach but in most cases it works!
  3. Thanks for all the suggestions. Grappling sounds like a good choice, and yes, shukokai is a from of karate.
  4. Me and my friend are thinking of expanding our martial arts knowledge. At the moment we do shukokai style but we want a change! any suggestions???
  5. age never matters. If you are dedicated enough and you want it enough, then you will get it. When the masters become old does it mean they're not masters anymore???? i think not!
  6. this is the second time i have tried posting so if you see two posts by myself then i'm not an idiot i just don't know mhow things work! strong katas with speed elements are the best, such as seinchin. Although a weaker person like myself would probably prefer neipaipo This is a personal favourite.
  7. my favourite kata has to be something like gojushihosho (im not sure how to spell it!) i like to think kata is my speciality and if anyone knnows any rae or unusual kata's please let me know.
  8. depends if your competing in kata or kumite! try not to let nerves get to you and do your best! where is the tournament??? good luck by the way
  9. I enter regular competitions and i think without a groin guard i would now be female without it! anone who know's what i'm talking about will i understand what i mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Do any of you guys actually know a 10th dan??????
