  1. italian guy, I'm curious about the 151 push ups too. What's that all about. I'd be lucky if I do 50.
  2. thanks for the encouragement, i surely need it!
  3. 29 but feeling like 79 last few weeks
  4. Started working for Kamikaze a while ago and my boss wants me get familiar with the line of Gis we're selling. Haven't trained or praticed for over 12 years but I figured I jump straight into field testing. I've been training with IKF Shito-ryu here in Sacramento for the last few weeks and I come home every night with a different part of my body aching and my stance don't go as low as they used to, my punches don't have any snap, and mawashi geris are more like leg sweeps. I guess old age finally caught up.
  5. CapitalKarate, Studied Shito-ryu for over 10 years but recently been training with my boss who's background is in Shotokan. I find the two styles very similar. I guess it's because Funakoshi and Mabuni was taught by the same teacher.
  6. Studied for ten years but after a super long break, I'm starting back at white belt. Forgot half my katas!
  7. First off, I would like to say hello to the board members here. I recently started training Karate again after a looooong break. I was doing some Karate research on the net and stumbled across this board. I must say this forum kicks *! My martial arts experience began with Judo but was later taught Aikido and Kenpo by my uncle. Before my move to CA, I've studied Shito-ryu Karate with IKF back in Hawaii for 10 years. Think I'll be cruising this board quite often. Oss, Barry
