  1. Thanks alot guys! I just finished my bio and turned it in for an A+ aka 100! I'm pretty sure that had I messed up the spelling I wouldn't have aced it, so once more, THANK YOU!!! ^_^
  2. Thank you so very much! Who knows, if I barely pass my black belt test, you could say that if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have my black belt!
  3. P.S. I’m mildly desperate because I have to turn this book in by Thursday! Please help me!
  4. I must apologize, but I’ve been looking everywhere for the proper spelling for the “tae guck” forms. I’m finishing up my Black Belt book. I don’t know what your school’s do, but at ours one must write an essay, a biography of both your whole life and then one about your martial arts life, and anything else you may want to include, to make one big “Black Belt book”. But anyways, for mine I took pictures of every motion of every “tae guck” form, I have them all set up on their pages, now I just don’t know how to spell there names. If any one knows how to spell both the “tae guck” and the “john” part, please tell me. Ex. “tae guck” pal “john”.
  5. Anyone aiming a firearm at me out of arms reach, (not that I would want to fight someone with a gun in my reach, ^_^)
  6. Thanks PAI, greatly appreciated.
  7. I'm new here so if this sounds stupid just please ignore the poor newbie fool, lol. I've been taking TaeKwonDo for about two years now and it been really good for me mentally and physically. But unfortunately TaeKwonDo is, or at least seams to me, a very specialized martial art focusing on kicking a lot more then punching and grabbing (or at least it is the way they teach it at my school) So I'm looking around the web for a site that has one or two forms from a different art (that’s how I found this place ^_^). Obviously I'm not looking to become a black belt in whatever I find, but I do think it would be fun just to try something different with out having to pay for lessons from a different teacher/master/sensei. Basically what I'm asking is if anyone knows a good website (or book) where they show some different forms.
  8. Any kick that requires a running start . . . I tend to start running, jump and do the kick alright, then land and tumble like I've got legs of wood or something, lol. Just to have my master then come over and stare at me with the "haven't we been over this" look.
  9. Same here. At my school they teach a blend of taeguk and palgwe.
  10. I agree and disagree with blue tiger. First what I agree with, it’s very hard to give you advise when you haven’t given us very much information. Next, not to be rude blue tiger, but don’t ever go into a fight planning to fight (that makes a cool quote ^_^). The number one thing is there’s almost always at least one way out without having to fight or embarrass your self or lose "respect" or whatever. Over all, all you need to do is get her to realize that she doesn’t need to fight. If she goes to a Do Jang to learn from a master I'm sure the master tells her not to use her skills unless attacked, you just need to get her to remember that.
