Maybe I'll actually tell you all about me, well I'm 18 and a gemini, I have 2 older sisters, the eldest is the one who does karate with me, and a younger bro. hmm... I love my cat lots, and my second fav animal is birds (right now looking after a rainbow lorikeet that was hit by a car) I'm a big anime fan, tho not as big as my sis who own more than 200! I really want to learn as much as i can about MA, even though I havnt even got the basics down pat yet!

Hi there, Found this forum while searching for Go-Kan-Ryu stuff. I'm sorry to say I found some very dissheartening comments here, but be assured it has not fazed me. I recently joined GKR with my sister (came home after 5 weeks away to be informed by her she intended us both to join) not that I minded of course! It was a little expernsive, but the people are great and I've even met someone who lives just up the road who I would never have known otherwise! I really joined for the "spiritual" side of things. I'd like to be a more focussed person and I hope that by learning karate I will understand my body and mind more and their relations with one another.... Sorry I really am babbling arnt I ?! Glad to be here!
