Fajin: I agree with your comments about Yang Style. About Chen Zhonghua, he was a disciple (inside student) of Hong Junshen (he passed away) and is a disciple of Feng Zhiqiang. Ren Guangyi is a disciple of Chen Xiaowang. Another good Chen Style teacher, Yang Yang, is also a discliple of Feng Zhiqiang. You should try to check the different workshops and seminars offered by these teachers. Is a good way to begin serious Chen Style training. If you are currently doing Yang Style and you have a good teacher that knows the practical applications of the art, keep doing it! Of course, this doesn't mean you shouln't do research into other styles.

Chen Zhonghua
The Hammer replied to taiji fajin's topic in Kung Fu, JKD, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Chinese Martial Arts
Fajin: Chen Zhonghua will be at a workshop in Vancouver at the end of April. Check his site for details. -
True Taiji Fajin, it is wise to know before you make judgements of Taijiquan teachers. Chen Zhonghua happens to be one of the best Chen style taijiquan instructors in North America. Another good Chen style teacher is Ren Guangyi: https://www.renguangyi.com By reading the information in their websites you will only know who their teachers are/were. If you want to know if they are for real, you need to meet them personally and train with them.

Isshin Ryu is good style of Okinawan karate. If you like what you see in the dojo, go for it!

Taijiquan forms don't follow the letter "I" pattern. There are plenty of taijiquan sites in the web, search them to get more info on real taijiquan. https://www.ymaa.com https://www.chenzhonghua.com https://www.taijichinesemedicine.com -

Tai Chi Chu'an
The Hammer replied to aefibird's topic in Kung Fu, JKD, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Chinese Martial Arts
I also practice Chen style. I originally started my Taiji training in Yang style several years ago. As of differences, the movementts are different and there are changes of tempo in Chen style. Aside from that, to the best of my understanding, all styles of Taiji conform to the same series of "principles", even if the movements are different. -
Questions about IsshinRyu and other forms of Karate
The Hammer replied to Bama Crimson's topic in Karate
Bama: These three styles you mentioned are rether different from each other. They have different kata, which means that if you change from one style to another you will have to start as a beginner. -
3 time, after time you will say them in your sleep, and you can probably find that in the internet, see if you can find info on the Goju-kai thats the governing body of Goju ryu. Greetings Gojuchad: Goju Kai is not the governing body of Goju Ryu, Goju Kai is the organization founded by Gogen Yamaguchi to organize and promote his style of Japanese Goju Ryu. There are numerous organizations that promote the practice of Goju Ryu Karate. Among them you will find IOGKF, Meibu Kan, Shobu Kan, Chi-I-Do and others.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Nothing wrong with what you say. If you feel you need something else, you should start doing some research on the different alternatives available to you. Try to find something that will expand what you already know. Go with an open mind. Good luck!
