White Belt (1/10)

  1. i guess it depends on whether you're trying to do this while you're training...theres absolutly nothing wrong in how you present yourself to others around you..while you're training you should be focused on training only, and nothing else...honestly i beleive maybe you're making more out of it than you need to...im sure you'll be fine...
  2. im a kyokushin practioner of 12 years..far as earning a belt over the internet im not familier with anything like that..but it does'nt suprize me...its a very popular style worldwide, and would be a easy way to make money...makes me sick..
  3. i read this three or four times already, and it remined me of my first belt test that i failed"twice"...i deffenitly know how you feel..i even thought about quiting all together thats how bad it was for me..but eventally you're drawn back to it whether you like it or not.. after awhile its something that become apart you, and then you it find it even more unbearable not doing it, then failing at it...just give yourself time, let it happen naturally...you get to a certain point your life when you get that "fire" you'll never be rid of it...even if something like this puts it out..it will eventually come back.....it always does...
  4. i can only speak in reference to experiences ive had..but far as im concerned when i trained in the dojo, i didnt speak at all..i just kept my mouth shut and concentrated on what i was trying to learn...ive never been an extrovertive, outgoing person to begin with so running my mouth was not really something i did...i just would stand back and observe people...although a few people took that as me being a snob, and i thought that i was better than everyone eles...so sometimes it don't matter what ya do...i my opinion i believe it would work out for you better if you kept quiet, and just trained...you'll gain more respect that way...no one respects a "bigmouth"
  5. hello everyone my name is grey im new to the forum so id just like to take the time and say hello.. far as what i train in...im a kyokushin stylist i feel it suits me best...never been one for hours of kata training although there are kata's in the kyokushin system but you all know im sure the main concentration is kumite(fighting)...i noticed theres not too many kyokushin people hear...i would like to let everyone know that i have the up most respect for all styles of the martial arts, and i wish you all continued luck in your training..
