White Belt (1/10)

  1. Yes definetly the back kick especially the jumping back kick or spinning back kick
  2. well my goals in TKD are to become an olympic champion and compete with other greatest champions. Yours?
  3. I would like to know everybodies opinions on these 3 federations or association. Which one is more competitive? Traditional? Modern? Cool? Thank you ahead!
  4. I'm not sure about video clips, but I know WTF certified books called "Tae Kwon Do" and "Black Belt Tae Kwon Do". They are pretty good.
  5. Bloodsport. Or is it Bloodwork? Well, one of those is about TKD.
  6. Ok. I get the point now. Thanks peeps!
  7. Wow Dude you are really getting ripped off. I wouldn't pay that much money for a black belt. My friend was going to 1 dan and they charged him only 150 bucks.
  8. Yeah TKD may be expensive but it all pays of in the end. (my opinion). In my dojang I have to pay 50 bucks each month and I also have to pay the belt change which is about 60 bucks. In my point of view, I think it is too much money, but on the other hand, that money will help me reach my lifetime goals.
  9. Does anybody practice TKD in Florida? Especially in Miami? If so, please reply to this topic.
  10. That sounds pretty funny when you actually think about it . . My kihap sounds like "kiooh". I've been trying to change it but it sounds even wrose when I try.
  11. My dojang uses Rhingo, while the instructors use Adidas. I'm also a girl and my instructors make me use a female groin protector. In November, I'm going to a tournament and they required women to wear a groin protector. I hope that could help you
  12. I need to know the difference between olympic tkd and regular tkd. Is one more difficult than the other or are they the same thing. Please help!!!
  13. I hope I could get mine in 2 and a half years I guess I would have to go everyday to my dojang.
  14. Our class starts with 25 minutes of non-stop working out - 20 push ups, 20 sit ups, 20 jumping jacks, 3 sets of running in place, splits, "suicides", and jumping high- and of course we end up sweating like crazy! After than, if it is a Monday we practice our forms. If it is a Wednesday, we do a little of everything. And on Fridays we do sparring.
