  1. Glad to hear your friend enjoyed his stay here...he woulda died of cardiac arrest if you'd taken him downtown - even more women there! I think that was Blake you saw, he shaved his head previous to his last fight at the SKF championships.
  2. Congrats to you then! Now I'm even more sorry I missed it - would have been cool to see you fight. Oh well, another time. PM me next time and I'll guarantee get your message as I don't always read every post. Cheers and congrats again Jeremy.
  3. Argh!! I missed ya Jeremy!! I didn't make it out to the tourny...no time!! Oh well...next time for sure! Glad to hear your guys did so well and am sorry I didn't get to see it...haven't talked to the people I train with to see how they did but will have to ask next time I'm at the dojo. BTW, did you compete? How did you do? Yeah those Capoeira guys are pretty amazing, I wonder if it's the same ones I got to see not long ago. Anyways, give me a shout next time you're here...see ya!
  4. Well, we're on our way to Gold!!! Way to go Team Canada!! We're waitin' on you all now Team USA.....BRING IT!!!!!!! Lori
  5. That's right BlueDragon, I forgot about that...we haven't had our best players and still, we did very well! ZR440, we don't need luck honey...never have...we have talent and lots of it... Lori
  6. The easy thing to do would be to have the child do push-ups...the harder and more appropriate thing to do would be exactly what that instructor did...he realized his mistake and he took the child to the side and took the time to properly explain to the child what is and isn't acceptable - after all children are a product of what we teach them and if they aren't taught properly then it's the responsibility of the instructor to correct that. I think you guys should lighten up a bit here...that story was freaking hilarious!!!! and it seems as though both the child and the instructor learned something, so all was not lost. It takes a very patient person to teach a child...my daughter does very well in class...she's 5 and she has great role-models to look up to - is always polite and pays attention well. I would perhaps have waited however as I do understand how challenging it is to have one child, nevermind a whole class of them!! My daughter's instructors have the utmost respect from their students and especially myself as I'm in awe as to how well they get them to perform and listen...they're amazing!
  7. Oh......I'm soooo gonna love seeing the States loooooose now!!!!
  8. That one's been making the rounds via e-mail lately...good one! So uh...what are you saying YODA?? You think we're all that difficult to understand?? Think carefully now before you answer that question.... ....Lori
  9.  Stop!!! You guys are killing me!!!!!! Jack, that was toooooo funny!!!!! Lori
  10. BRING IT!!!! We gonna open up a big can of whup a$$ on you guys!! Oh yeah...one more thing ZR440 - one might think you sound a tad Canadian too....eh???? Lori
  11. Yeah well, we're not even gonna go into how we got RIPPED-OFF by the judges in the pairs skating now are we!!!!!!! I'm NOT impressed with all of the politics that comes into play in the Olympic Games!
  12. Always thought of 13 as lucky too... I think my name is pretty much self-explanatory.. Lori :pony:
  13. Angus....c'mon now honey, you do realize the control they now have over you don't you? I mean, look at how you've allowed them to affect you!! As said before, you were outnumbered and of course I understand your anger - however it's gonna get you killed. You need to learn to master your ego/pride...I know you realize there's more to life than your pride... however you are allowing this experience to run your life and if you truly want peaceor resolution within yourself you are looking in the wrong place...how can you blast these people for what they did to you and then plan this revenge and lower yourself to them? Sh*t Angus, I know you're better than that...you are missing out on so much life has to offer you if you allow yourself to be consumed by anger...and this will just continue on until someone gets killed - you wanna go to jail and ruin the rest of your life??? Your hard work at University....flush that down the toilet too...your parents, friends and family will be affected by your actions as well, so please sweetie don't do this to yourself - it will eat you up from the inside out. Love ya and don't want to see anything bad happen to you... Lori
  14. One of the most amazing books I've ever read was 'The road less travelled', YODA...a brilliant and eye-opening read. It was life changing for me... . Lori
