I would agree that the techiniques and the style are the most important in defining a school as Chinese or not. I am part of the Chinese Kara-Ho Kempo system started by Professor Chow and passed down through Grandmaster Sam Kuoha. Though Grandmaster is not originally from China, the system style originated in CHina.

I am a Brown Belt is Professor Chow's Chinese Kara-Ho Kempo. I train under Sensai Michael Darnell. I was wondering if there are any other Kara-Ho Kempo students that visit this website that would be willing to talk about the system and what they have learned through their training. It always helps I feel to know that we can learn from each other in preparation for our becoming Black Belts in the system and teaching others.
