Well okay, i seen the movie about 30+ times. Firstly the movie starts in a village nongpado ''nong'' means lake ''pado'' is the name. It will take long to explain. Ongbak was a child with no mother or farther, he was left outside a watt that means temple so the monk looks after him and train him muay thai, the monk was a mt fighter before but he killed an oponet in the ring so he became a monk. Am thai so I can explain for you. Most of the movie speaks north eastern thai language and thai. Tony jaa and his freind the bald guy real name is ''mom'' that how you pronuced it. Try to find the bhuddas head and meet these bad people. The final oponent ongbak have to face was a thai guy but the movie said it was a burmess guy 9in the movie). I'll explain later the english version I seen is not vey accurate with the langauge spoken thai have 46 letter while english have only 26.

I think you should go for Thailand and search some more, myself I know there are two gyms that I know might be better than lanna muay Thia Gym but if you are at Ciangmai if you travel down south for three hours by car then east wards that where my resort is so you can rent there as well. I have a resort for tourist its very resoanble pices I know you so I won't charged any. I'll showed you some of the photos not far from ciangmai at all we also have a Muay Thai gym, its free if you want to come mart I can arrange it for you. -
Cut kick, normally if i fight with my partner in sparring I kicked near the neck area and when i do again so my oponent keep blocking the upper body and forgotten to block the leg, to bock the low kick one way is to stand your feet both face the oponent not the side or your oponet will low kicked your thigh back leg or inner thigh, or bring your front leg as a muay thai guard the same time but not the shin bit or you'll knocked each other shins, also if you fake a kicked a mt will blocked then you can do a cut kick.

I have being study karate for a while now and my favorite kick is to the leg which hurst my oponent I done alot in classes and most of my sparring partner can't stand up probabely; Does anyone of you use this technique to make your opoponet uncomfortheble. mostly I start punching then kicking then came the low kicks which works nicely for me.

To my Opinions; Taekwondo use alot of different kinds of kicks spending mostly on kicks about 80%, and Muay Thai is a combanation of 8 cool weapons the sharp elbow the long leg the big punch the killer knee. -
I've trained at a few different camps in Thailand and the formost thing you need to do is be humble and respectful of the trainers there. Although that should go without saying. If they allow you to spar with them, spar lightly as thai's generally do. If you up the pace, they will match you and you are very likely to get hurt. I saw a guy from Italy I think it was, he sparred with one of the trainers in the camp I now go to when I visit BKK, he simply got scared and in doing so punched and kicked a little harder than he should have and the trainer took this as disrespect or something because he got very irritated and quickly played some of the cards 200+ fights had given him. The Italian fella did not fair so well and the arjarn actually had to intervene to keep the guy from getting seriously hurt. It was a pretty scary spectacle. The trainer was absolutely furious. Just don't go any harder than they do and you'll be fine. The trainers are actually quite gentle and I have never been injured in the least by any that I have had the honor of sparring with. Thanks bro can't wait to watch tennis paradon schapean thai player. (Whoops other topic!!

I can do a front split but not full splits, split does not matter for warming up at all its a bonus for hip flexibility. To do the splits is keep doing it in splits position everyday slowly move down use gravity never try bouce when doing splits, if you try hard you'll get your splits in 3 months.
