Well you can still learn from other nations.

Well about to get orange so i know im not too experenced in most peoples eyes but there have been people there for 6 years who still have only spared once a very long time ago.

What criterra is needed for green belt in Wado Ryu

Well its a very small dojo but weve had a increase in members like 1-2 every week now and i think it's because of to many new people joining that might be the problem.The people who have been there longer or the same time as me are quite good with kata's and work well on technique and I feel that we need sparing to further understand our technique and find out what where confortable with.

My sensei is one of the people I fear least in my class because he is so lade back and can take a joke or two.

Well having karate as a sport has benifets like being able to test your skills agenst people around the globe and you can learn a thing or two as well.

Sadly at my dojo we don't get sparing though we have tried to convence our sensie we are ready but he continues to aviod the matter. Anyone else out there with the same problem or dose anyone have a sujestion on what to do?

I did my yellow belt not that long ago and it was just the same as yours apart from we had to do the first few kata's aswell but gusse most styles are diferent. P.S. going to be doing my orange belt soon. :

I think the films are great and do a really good job in keeping with the books. But my only problem is that big chunks are missed out and put in special DVD's and i think they should just include all the parts on the original film .
