  1. I dont think puting your arms to the side and pushing up is an option when someone sinks a guillitine choke on you. Aside from a rear naked choke, when applied properly, the guillitine is one of the more controlled and easy chokes to apply, and one of the hardest to escape. Of course we could say what to do if you catch someone whos going to apply it, but once your in the guillitine its a different story. Someone above replied and you need to tuck your chin as much as possible, which is the basics of protecting your self from the choke. When "practice grappling," me and my associates usually just tap when a guillitine choke is applied properly to avoid damaging eachother.
  2. I would choose boxing over Judo, one reason being boxing gives great fundamentals for a well rounded fighter, it also builds speed and builds an unbeatable endurance
  3. My style, which i have been involved in for roughly 3 1/2 years, Kuk Sool Won, is very circular. I have also had the pleasure of practicing some Wing Tsun, which is stricktly linear. Both styles are exelent, but i honestly feel that circular is the way to go, although i think being trained in both is a necessity. There are many things in both styles that compliment eachother. Any opinions on Circular vs. Linear?
  4. If your more interested in throwing, and would like to incorperate punching, kicking, etc. I would try Judo
  5. Hey, i was wondering how the correct spelling of 5th degree black belt Kwan Jah Nyum? 4th degree black belt Sah Buh Nyum? 2nd degree black belt Kio So Nyum? Thanks to anyone who can help (ive been out of Kuk Sool for too long )
