White Belt

White Belt (1/10)

  1. But, seriously, we need a black belt to answer this question. He/She would know... (Well, duh)
  2. It's corny, but it's definitely true. What you speak of is true...
  3. I am a bit confusd in training. By the way, I self train (for the moment). Well, I break drywall, or layers of drywall, and I want to know exactly how to hit it (or the best way). I use the hammerfist or the side of my open hand (a "karate chop"). Anything different I can try?
  4. Bare Knuckles Boxing in NYC? Those two in one subject is a bad subject, at that... Ouch...
  5. The cat style is quick and effective. I'd say that's the most effective one.
  6. I took kickboxing two years ago, but I still remeber some of the moves. I thought usin a hammerfist-hook punch was consider a foul move... Isn't it? I'm confizzled.
  7. Isn't a chain punch a seires of punches? Or a "chain" of punches (Duh)? Yeah, Hybrid's probably right... (By the way, good guess there Hybrid.)
  8. I know what a chain is, and I know wht a punch is, but a chain punch? I'm clueless...
  9. We have between one and twelve. Our leader, well, actually, I don't know. But he's good.
  10. I self-teach and I'm more skilled and stronger than most of my friends who have been taking martial arts for years. So, booyah.
  11. Since I'm not officially in a martial arts class because I'm poor, I really can't offially vote... but... When I train, I use both, but I train better with music. It gets me in a, well, "mad" mood and the beat basically flows through my body. Whereas if I didn't have music playing I'd focus on how much punching this or that will hurt or something. So, yay for music.
  12. I practice with a certain amount of layers of drywall (actually it's like drywall, but abit stronger...). 've been studying how to break it, how much force I need, and where my hand should be. I've learned a lot, though.
