You must try Karate especially Shotokan. I myself practice Shotokan and i see loads of people built along your lines . And they are really successful. Dont worry about inflexibility youll get flexible

How does the belt grading system go in your country. In Turkey it goes. White --6th Kyu Yellow -- 5th Kyu Orange -- 4th Kyu Green -- 3rd Kyu Blue -- 2nd Kyu Brown -- 1st Kyu Black Black with a Dan Diploma -- Shodan Black 2 Dan -- Nidan .............................. In my country a dan is like a teaching license. It is given only to those who have 18 years of age. But you can be blackbelt without a dan. That is like betwwen Kyu and Dan. Do you have red, purple, pre-black etc. belts in your country? Do you have two Kyus wearing same colour? Please let me know. Especially The Japanese system. Thank You

In turkey people without a dan can have a black belt. But they are not allowed to teach. They are only sempai. And you cant get a dan if you aren't 18 years of age. I think it is a great system.
