Orange Belt

Orange Belt (3/10)

  1. Hey shrekka have you tried the Kamikaze europa or kamikaze dynamic gi Both gis I have been thinking about buying. Probably the Europa for general training since I believe its middle weight, and the dynamic possibly to replace my adidas WKF gi. Have you tried either of them? How are they?
  2. Shrekka at what WKF tournament did this incident occur? Just curious...
  3. I sometimes wear a leather belt, lol.
  4. Good luck you'll do fine. Hm maybe you already did it? Howd it go?
  5. Favorite for tournaments/to do - Superimpei Favorite to watch - Kururunfa or Anan Favorite of all time - Anan
  6. there are ALOT of twelve yearolds who deserve to wear a blackbelt.
  7. Whats so amazing about there being pro point fighters? "Knockdown" isn't the only way to go. In fact I'd bet world level point fighters have better footwork, better reflexes and much better speed than the average pro full contact fighter. They(fullcontact) might be stronger but, eh, maybe not. Just sick of people bashing point fighting.
  8. P.A.L. seems to have a good question about those katas adapted into some schools of shito ryu, maybe someone could get that one. Hm one question of many I have involves kata suparimpai. When are you taught to contract muscles, relax muscles in this kata?
  9. Anyone? lol.. Who practices and can talk about Suparimpai, Anan, Sepai, Gojyushiho, Chatanyarakushanku? Some others I may be forgetting.
  10. You will be fine
  11. If you study shito ryu especially like a hayashi/kotaka ha post here so we can talk =)
  12. Opinion? Not sure what you mean. Its probably the most common thing you'll see in sparring. Can be very powerful with proper hip and body coordination.
  13. May I ask which kata your working on? I may have some tips for it.
  14. There isn't really a best tournament kata. Judges look for form and other things not really which kata your're doing. However, if someones techinque/form/etc just HAPPENS to be EXACTLY the same throughout different kata's, I would say that Anan is great when done correctly, as well as Suparinpai, Gojushiho and Unshu too. But really it all depends on your form not the kata.
