E! Online reports that the producer of the Spider-Man series told theater owners that Spider-Man 4 won't reach theaters before 2011 as there is not a script and Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi aren't on board yet.

The Yankees recently drafted Pat Venditte, a pitcher who throws with both arms. He had his professional debut on Thursday and it resulted in a little drama. The New York Times has the story of what happened when a switch hitter came to the plate. The hitter kept switching sides, but Venditte switched along with him, of course. In the end, Venditte struck out the hitter. SNY has a clip. Should be an interesting pitcher to follow.

The AP has a report of a 18 year old in Terre Haute, IN, who robbed the lemonade stand of a 12 year old girl. He took $17.50. But, the girl chased after him and, after he ran into a House, she called the police and the guy was arrested. Not saying the girl should have ran after him (dangerous thing to do), but it's funny/good it worked out how it did. I like how they spoke to another 12 year old to get a quote. heh.
