  1. that is -if he does not block them(very easily) has -tough legs (as many can take a great deal of pain) -the boxer is too close and -the kickboxer doesnt get knocked out first -your most likely situation with offensive backs
  2. yes, like muay thai, there is a specified place for special events. For ex. in Thailand is one of the few places that holds Muay Thai boxing fights with sweeping, choking, and elbows legal. another example id Draaka which i worked with a while, which standardly can use throws, but is mainly in Russia. so my point is, you will need a specific place for a Luta Livre school because of the rarety..peace
  3. hmm... i have been shaving since i was about 11 long ago.. it does keep you cooler during hot days, it helps the sweat to run off easier when you are running miles in a plastic sack.. and the ladiez seem to like it nowadayz so it all works out for the best
  4. Yo I am a skilled boxer and have also fought in styles of muay thai *muy tai* as some call it, and western style kickboxing.. I have fought and defeated skilled muay thai and kickboxers many-a-time using my boxing skills (everyone i know wanted to see me prove just this thing you all are talking about in this thread ) it is possible, with the right amount of skills, but i know i also have an advantage b/c i think like all three and can judge well..but no matter, it IS very possible for a boxer to defeat MT's and Kickboxers with the right amount of skill.
  5. also, make sure your defensive front leg is in 'sync' with your front arm.
  6. it is possible for a boxer to defeat a kickboxer with skill, i have, but i also have experience with both fields and think like both so i have an advantage. depends mainly on your skill level
  7. Muay Thai, it gives more freedom, but if you want the easy one, kickboxing, and it has more limits
  8. i seldom get in street fights, but if so, i agree with Karate_Woman, and i believe never hit sum1 not expecting the force in return
  9. Yo ive been reading through out this thread and i just want to say if you have never learned anything about boxing you should keep negative comments to yourself. i know alot about boxing AND kickboxing and i could take out a kickboxer with him using all of his weapons, with enough skill a boxer can 'adapt' if you will, to any situation brought unto him, so dont make assumptions...peace
