I've been training with a bokken for about 2 years, I'm ready for real swords.

Thats it! I believe it happens in Japan, but very rarely.

Since these swords are cheap, should I get one and see how well its made? Worst case I waste 30 bucks than hurt myself

Does anybody know what its called when a student lives with his instructor. The student cleans up and basically does everything the instructor tells him to in exchange for training. Thanks!

Just make sure its good quality and has enough room for your belts. I got a crappy wood one that fell apart.

Well, many people claim to be skilled, more so in ninjutsu than others. You can tell if an instrutor is faking by his movements and answers to questions. Ask who he trained with etc.

Its not the belt, its the soul and willingness of the person
