  1. choy li fut bak sing style sun style tai chi chuan sanda ( same as san shou but no padding, just gloves mouth guard and groin) still doing all three
  2. there are two types of choy li fut that i know of. the first is hung sing which has a crazy amount of forms and is oriented towards them more and then there is pak (bak) sing which has less forms and is more fighting oriented. hung sing can be traced from the creator of choy le fut more directly and pak sing is a student of the creator that was booted out for fighting to much ( he spent a number of years before getting kicked out). choy li fut has a well rounded system it has stand up fighting, throws and ground(ground portion is hard to find someone teaching it but it exists) the system is very circuler and consists of mantis, leapord, tiger, snake(ground fighting) and other styles of shaolin, and has iron palm. the system lets the user stay planted and go from far to close range fighting. this is all the information that i could think of at the moment. I hope information provided helps you.
  3. I think cung le is dam good fighter but to say he is the best would be diffucult seeing as how no one has any form of measuring old (dead) fighters and todays fighters.
  4. most kung fu styles like choy le fut have complete fighting(stand up , throws, ground). I am not to sure about others but what really comes into play is the practice one puts into thier art and it is not the art that makes the person.
  5. when asking your self is karate influenced by kung fu, one can look at another fact which is most kung fu styles are influenced from shoalin. my choy le fut style is an inlfuence from shaolin but is it the same as shaolin, no! Just basic applications are the same. Shaolin it self is an inluence from an ancient Indian training or fighting style. so the point is does it really matter were it came from, what matters to me is, does it work?
