I haven't put a patch on my gi in a while so bear with me. Where does a patch on a karate gi go. I have an SKIF patch so my guess is that it should be put on the left side. Is this accurate or should I just check with my sensei?

In my dojo we only practice our own style specific kata. Outside of the dojo I have learned some Shito-Ryu and have been trying to analyse and interpret the difference between the bunkai and the ideas behind it.

Thanks for the welcome sensei8. Talking with my sensei last night he said that the kata was only beginning to be taught in SKIF, and that it is completely different.

Yes my sensei said the kata was completely different for the regular nijushiho

Recently my Sensei mentioned a kata called Nijushiho Sho. I believe it was one of the katas that was left out of the common Shotokan syllabus. I have looked all over the internet and youtube and haven't found it. My question is does anyone know it or any of its characteristics.
