My favorite kata's are Saiha and Pinan sono go.

In Kyokushinkai karate, the ranking system is like this: 11th kyu-white 10th kyu-orange 9th kyu-orange 8th kyu-blue 7th kyu-blue 6th kyu-yellow 5th kyu-yellow (that's me) 4th kyu-green 3rd kyu-green 2nd kyu-brown 1st kyu-brown (For junior students, it's often five stripes on each belt, in the same order as the belt colours) black nidan, shodan, etc. I think it's strange orange and blue is before yellow. Does anybody know why it's like this? (I think I'd better ask this on the karate part)
