Hi everyone just joined recently. Had a grading for my purple belt a week ago in Shotokan Karate. Frank Brennan did the grading and I was very nervous. Anyway passed and was very pleased to have passed. First grading in 7 year had to quit a few year ago due to work but really getting back into it. Told me I need to relax more and to move faster but hopefully that will come in time.

Hi Im looking at buying another gi. I currently have a Japanese cut Adidas one but want to get the Shotokan badge on a new one with the clubs name below it. Does anyone know what the fittings are like on the various Kamae gi, I prefer the longer top with shorter arms. The reason Im choosing Kamae is they do the embroidery for the badge. They also sell Kaiten gi on there website if that would be an option as they also embroid them. Thanks
