  7. Hi, I've just started kyokushin again afters years and years being out of it. A new thing for me that we are supposed to know for exams, are something called 'rythms'. I think there are 9 rythms in total. I was wondering if anyone knows these and can write these down for me, or maybe there's a video on youtube somewhere? I've searched but couldn't find it. I do know the first rythms: Rythm 1: Start with straight double fists jodan, then chudan, then gedan. Leave your left hand out, pull back the right. Then do normal 1 hand punches: jodan, chudan, gedan. Then jodan uke, gedan barai, double arm defense (forgot the name). Then hiza geri, kin geri, mai keage. Rythm 2: Start with fists high besides the shoulders, snap punch right, pull back. Then straight punches (right) jodan, (left) chudan, (right) gedan, then right hook chudan, then straight punches jodan, chudan, gedan, but with fist so your hand could be holding coffee or something (opening of the fist is pointing up). Then soto uke, mai geri. I might be mistaken a bit with these two rythms, i'm not sure. Can anyone help me to complete all the rythms ? Thanks! Lux
