Hello, I am looking at buying good quality sai for contact training against wooden weapons like bokken and bo. I bought a pair from Shureido but they were crap and bent on first couple of impacts against my partners bo and shirokashi bokken. Any other Japanese made proper sai which can take a beating. I contacted Shureido about their sai and they told me their sais are only for kata practise and no contact at all, which i find strange, as these are marketed as traditional okinawan weapons and not toys. So any other Japanese companies besides shureido who make sturdy sais? Thanks, Jeremy
