  1. I train in Atemi Ryu Ju Jitsu - and it has taught me sofar (after first grading) that when on the floor and opponent standing, always have your feet pointing towards your opponent, they are less likely to kick you like this, becuse they are scared of getting a kick in the face - leg or groin, or you could be clever like i was on the grading and take them down by placing youf lowest foot on theirs and pushing their upper leg with your other foot, works wonders
  2. This si a touchy subject The thing about these war machine viruses - is sometimes the virus worm could be so complexed it could be using your computers processor power and data strands to aid a criminal computer mastermind - for exam ple in the production of a bomb or a war plan This is how far and REAL it can get!
  3. i dont mean to sound rude - but the fact that it would be in each thread would be rather tedious for the readers and users of the thread.
  4. I like your views and agree with them - but i also stil remain strongfelt about my own
  5. I think it is better to practise with taller people for ju jitsu and grappling - taller people have bigger limbs which make it harder to handle. If you can apply techniques on people taller than you - you can do them on people shorter than you by theory. Also you are more likely to be attacked by someone physically larger than yourself.
  6. But do you or dont you think that height strength and weight have an effect on the speed of which you can adapt to the techniques and pick up on new ones ?
  7. Thanx for your responses - many more welcome I like being tall for grappling - cos ive got the leverage to throw people and pin them and stuff I LOVE IT!!!!
  8. lol - Being tall has its advantages in sparring and randori - you can use atemi to hold people off with jabs - and also in sparring for other martial arts you can use your kicks to your advantage!
  9. Hello Seth, Ihave heard of the name - isnt it a small world come to think of it - it aint easy being tall - especially tall and just starting ju jitsu - but let me tell you one thing - tall people have wide hips sometimes - easier for throws!
  10. Seth - Where is it that you train in ju jitsu - because i only train once a week, and the system sounds very farmiliar - is the club Leeds based?
  11. The breakfalls are good for me because i can throw myself towards the floor at great speeds and roll and break my fall - without hurting myself. Its an achievement when your 6 foot 4!
  12. Seth, Im glad to hear that you like ju jitsu - the breakfalling is compulsory for the first couple of lessons - it helps you not to hurt yourself when doing the throws and lock techniques. They are also fun *dives on massive blue mat and does a rolling breakfall* Wait till you get to yellow belt (like me) everything seems to open up to you. More variety is good
  13. I found this information on a website about all jitsu arts Ancient system of combat based on jujutsu; founded by Shinra SaburoYoshimitsu during the Kamakura period (1185 - 1336) in Japan. Also known as aiki-jujutsu, it is the art from which aikido has developed. Sometime during the 13th century, a school existed to the north of Mt. Fuji that specialised in the teaching of aiki-jutsu. It was kept secret except to a few disciples, for the most part Japanese nobles of ancient lineage. This art had originated from Kenjutsu. The term aiki, like ju, indicates a principle, a way of using the body as a weapon of combat. The method of aiki is to use the the co-coordinated power of ki in harmony with the circumstances of combat; by blending one’s strategy with an opponent’s, to attain full control over him and over the encounter. Hope it helps
  14. Trojans (you are correct) arent viruses, virusses are totally different things all together There are Three main types of computer infection Virus, Trojan, Variant Trojan being the most hazardous!
